Prague - Day 1

Good trip on Air France (thanks Delta!) - and after a short layover in Paris, we arrived in Prague.  Our very nice apartment (home for the next week) was ready and waiting for us in Praha 1.

Taken from our apartment balcony, of buildings across the street.

View around the corner toward the Intercontinental Hotel and tram stop.

One of the trams in our neighborhood - we are in a quiet, good neighborhood.  Even the trams are really quiet.

We rested up for a while and later walked around Old Town (Stare Mesto) Prague.  We had dinner near the apartment and waited for our friends to join us.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor - in a wonderful old restored building - high ceilings with beautiful plater detail, fresh paint, and Ikea supplied!

     Kitchen and dining room

Entrance hall - plus 3 bedrooms, 2 bath rooms, living room, and kitchen-dining room - lots of room for us!

  1. Ann, I'll be reading about your adventures with Ginny and Robert. Can't wait for more.

Promise me you will all go to the baths at the Hotel Gellert in Budapest - my strangest cultural experience ever. I keep sending people, but no one has gone yet. Am counting you ya'll!
